Company History

Applied Technologies Company was established in 2001 with the prime objective of building a network that spans the whole stretch of the Kingdom Tower and Shopping Mall to provide fast, reliable, and cost effective Internet and Data connectivity for the centre tenants, and to provide all supporting products and services. By the end of 2001 App-Tec was fully operational within the Kingdom Center and started considering expansion opportunities within the still booming IT market in the Kingdom. By early 2003 App-Tec partnered with Glob-Tel Telecom, a foreign leading company in the field of telecommunications, to expand its services to the market outside the Kingdom Tower. By mid 2003 App-Tec has invested in expanding its network and services to include a radius of 20Kms of air distance around the Kingdom Centre.
